Sinopse: Um reencontro com valores do ser humano através da história do Dr. Andrew Brown (Treat Williams), um renomado neurocirurgião da cidade de Nova York, cuja vida sofre uma reviravolta geral com a perda de sua esposa.

Andrew Brown decide isolar-se com sua filha pequena (Vivien Cardone) e seu filho adolescente (Gregory Smith) em um povoado distante nas montanhas do Colorado, onde as tradições contam mais que a fama de um cirurgião de cidade grande.

A família tem mais valor que a ciência e os costumes locais são mais fortes que os hábitos urbanos. Everwood, o lugar onde Andy se tornará o médico e o pai que sua esposa sempre ansiou.
