Sinopse: Gordon Shumway, o último sobrevivente do planeta Melmac, pousa com sua espaçonave na garagem da família Tanner. Willie é o apelido de ALF, uma abreviação para "Alien Life Form". Depois de convencer o Exército de que eles não estão abrigando uma criatura do espaço, os Tanners decidem assumir Alf como um membro da família.
